Tour Description
For the following 8 days, you are going to enjoy the best wildlife safari park that Cameroon has to offer; the Waza National Park, the biggest in the country and very rich in wildlife like the lions, elephants, giraffes, ostriches, antelopes, and several species of birds. You shall also visit the best of attractions that Libreville and Lambarene of Gabon have to offer to tourists. At the end of the tour you shall be sure to have shuttled between the culture and biosphere of these two countries, rich in tourist attractions.
Daily Program:
Day 1: Abroad – Douala International Airport – Douala
Welcome at the Douala International Airport by our agent and transfer to hotel. City tour of Douala, dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Douala – Garoua – Rhumsiki
Breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight to Garoua. Welcome by our local agent and transfer to Rhumsiki in the Mandara mountains. Visit the Gorges of Kola on the way. Arrival at Rhumsiki and visit the crab sorcerer and the coppersmith workshops. Dinner and overnight at the Rhumsiki ecolodge.
Day 3: Rhumsiki – Tourou – Waza National Park
Breakfast and take off to visit the Tourou market at the Nigerian-Cameroon borders. Continuation to the Waza National Park via the Koza hills. Arrival at the park and overnight at Waza lodge.
Day 4: Waza National Park – Maroua
Breakfast and visit of the park. Return in the afternoon take off for Maroua via Oudjilla. Arrival at Maroua and overnight.
Day 5: Maroua – Douala – Libreville
City tour of Maroua before transfer to the airport for flight to Douala and then connect to Libreville, Gabon. Arrival at Libreville, airport assistance by our agent and transfer to Laïco Okoume Palace hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Libreville – Lambarene
Breakfast and drive to Lambarene. Stop over on the way at the Equator line at Oyane III. Arrival at Lambarene and installation at Les Sirenes hotel. Lunch, city tour of Lambarene, with visits of the Schweitzer hospital and the City museum. Dinner and overnight at Les Sirenes hotel.
Day 7: Lambarene – Libreville
Breakfast and transfer to Lakes Zile and Evaro for boat rides. Return to Les Sirenes for lunch and later take off for Libreville. Arrival at Libreville, dinner and overnight at Okoume Palace hotel.
Day 8: Libreville – Abroad
City tour of Libreville with visits to the Leon Mba Mausoleum, the handicraft centre, the St Michel’s church and many more. Transfer to the airport for flight back home. END OF TOUR.
