Tour Description
This tour will take you to the Mefou National Park, located some 35kms away from Yaounde. The Mefou Park is known as the Primate sanctuary. It’s full of chimpanzee, gorillas, and monkeys. You are going to see them and also walk through numerous nature trails.
Afterward, we shall drive to Ebogo Village in the afternoon where you are going to be taken for a canoe trip in the Nyong River. Relaxation is the best word to describe this village since you can listen to the birds’ sound and check the variety of mangrove trees that surrounds it. The following day, we shall drive to the Nkolandom Ecotourist Centre where you shall contemplate the scenic landscape before kicking off to Nkolelon. To crown the tour, we shall enjoy oceanic pleasures at the Kribi beaches before returning to Yaounde for a return trip.
Daily Program
Day 1: Abroad – Nsimalen International Airport – Yaounde
Arrival at the Nsimalen International Airport, welcome by our agent and transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Yaounde – Mefou National Park – Ebogo
City tour of Yaounde, the political capital of Cameroon before departure to the Mefou National Park to visit the primates (Gorillas, Chimpanzees, and several Monkey species) in a semi-natural park. Continuation to Ebogo for a canoe trip in the Nyong River, which leads you to discover the oldest tree in the world. Dinner and overnight in the village.
Day 3: Ebogo – Nkolandom
Free relaxation in the village after breakfast and drive to Nkolandom after visiting the city of Ebolowa on the way. Visit the ecotourism centre of Nkolandom and overnight.
Day 4: Nkolandom – Nyabesan – Nkoelon
After breakfast, drive to Nyabesan and visit the electric dam of Memvele. Continue through the Campo-Ma’an National Park to the Nkoelon Village for overnight.
Day 5: Nkoelon – Kribi
After breakfast, departure to Campo beach. Visit the city and continuation to Ebodje where we shall visit the Marine Tortoises site. Drive to Kribi for an overnight.
Day 6: Kribi
Enjoy the seaside resort city of Kribi for the whole day. Leisure at the beach and visit of the Lobe waterfalls.
Day 7: Kribi – Yaounde – Abroad
Drive to Yaounde, shopping at the handicraft centre and airport transfer for return flight. End of our services.
