Tour Description
The aim of this tour is to permit the guests to carry out feasibility studies of the major political and/or economic capital cities of some 6 Central African countries, namely; Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Sao Tome, Gabon, Congo Brazzaville and the Democratic Republic of Congo in just one trip to Africa so as to determine the different business opportunities that these countries offer. It should be noted that the CEMAC countries are very rich in minerals, flora and fauna, timber, hydroelectricity and agricultural resources and is an attractive niche to economic operators and investors.
Also, this multi-country tour will give you the opportunity to visit the most captivating attractions of these countries, meet with their hospitable and smiling people, come to know their various cultures and traditions and savour some of their gastronomy. This is a group tour and has the advantage of guests interacting with one another and networking.
The tour starts in Douala in Cameroon and ends in Brazzaville in the Democratic Republic of Congo. There is rather no hard rule on the starting and ending points of the tour as they could be modified to suit the traveling objective of the guests.
Daily Program
Day 1: Abroad – Douala International Airport – Douala
Welcome at the airport, transfer to hotel, brief city tour of Douala, dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Douala – Limbe – Douala
Excursion to Limbe, found in the South West Region of Cameroon. Observation of the rubber, oil palms and bananas plantations on the way. Visit the Limbe Botanic Gardens and the Limbe Wildlife Centre. Return to Douala in the evening and overnight.
Day 3: Douala – Douala Airport – Malabo Airport – Malabo
City tour of Douala, lunch in a local restaurant and transfer to the Douala International Airport for flight to Malabo. Arrival and welcome at the Malabo airport by our agent. Transfer to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Malabo
City tour of Malabo with visits to the Cathedral of Santa Isabel, the former Slave Jail (prison), the City of Luba, Batete Cathedral (a UNESCO Heritage), Riaba with a stop at Puente Cope, the Central market of Malabo. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Malabo
Excursion to the neighbouring village of Bareso where a local traditional dance will be performed for the guests. Return to Malabo, dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Malabo – Malabo Airport – Sao Tome Airport – Sao Tome
Early morning breakfast and transfer to the airport for flight to Sao Tome. Arrival, welcome at the airport by our agent and transfer to Pestana hotel. City tour of Sao Tome, return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Sao Tome
Day consecrated entirely for City tour of Sao Tome with visits to Pico Sao Tome, the national museum, and some local markets. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Sao Tome – Libreville
Departure from Sao Tome to Libreville, the political capital of Gabon. Arrival at the Libreville International Airport, welcome by our agent and transfer to Laïco Okoume Palace hotel. Lunch and City tour of Libreville, dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Libreville – Lambarene (275 km)
Breakfast and start of trip. Drive for about 5 hours to Lambarene. Lunch on the way in a local restaurant. Arrival and check in at Les Sirènes hotel. City tour of Lambarene including pygmy village, Albert Schweitzer’s hospital and a cruise on the lake. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Lambarene – Libreville
Breakfast and half day sightseeing tour of Lambarene. Lunch and return to Libreville by road. Arrival and overnight at Laïco Okoume Palace.
Day 11: Libreville – Brazzaville
Full day sightseeing of Libreville with visits to the Museum of Arts and Traditions, the St Michael’s Church, the Presidential Palace and the Handicraft village. Lunch in a local restaurant and transfer to the airport for flight to Brazzaville. Arrival at the Brazzaville Airport, welcome by our local agent and transfer to Mikhael’s hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 12: Brazzaville – Kinshasa – Brazzaville
Breakfast and City tour of Brazzaville with visits to the Moungali market, Jane Bial market, and the Total market. Transfer to the beach to board a speedboat for an excursion to Kinshasa. Arrival at the Kinshasa beach, and sightseeing of Kinshasa with visits to the Academy of Fine Arts and the Value market. Lunch in a local restaurant and drive to the beach for return trip to Brazzaville via the speedboat. Arrival, dinner and overnight at Mikhael’s hotel.
Day 13: Brazzaville – Maya Maya International Airport – Hexagon
Breakfast and transfer to the Maya Maya International Airport for a return flight back home. End of Service.
